I’m currently on a pineapple kick. Yesterday I shared my abstract pineapple mani with you, and today I felt it necessary to leave you with a bit more pineapple inspiration.
P.s. I want all of it!
(I may or may have not ordered these. Hint: The answer is may 😉 )
Okay! This video was a special request from one of my clients back in Washington state.
If you have a bob and your goal is tousled, messy waves, this video is for you! The entire process takes less than 15 minutes, and that’s with me explaining the products I used and my method. So no excuses that you don’t have time to beautify your hair!
Make sure and give me a shout out if you find this tutorial helpful to you. And if you want to see me demo anything else, leave me a comment below and I will do my best to answer your requests!

Last month, my grandma passed away. She used to worry also, but then she would be reminded of God’s promises. She used to tell me to take a day at a time when things seemed stressful.
Let me leave you with this encouragement today:
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Philippians 4:6

On Saturday my family and I took a hike to Waimano Falls. Now, in my opinion, this hike is not for the weak of heart! It was hands down the hardest hike I’ve ever done (not that I’m an avid hiker), but it was a rush and so much fun!
To access the falls, you start off on Manana Trail. The trail actually starts off paved, so I was initially thinking that it was going to be a breeze. Wrong. It quickly turns into a slippery and muddy organic trail, where you are climbing up an down steep hills, scaling rocks, and dodging tree roots.
The payoff came when we reached the falls and I finally got the chance to swing on a rope swing (a life long dream of mine) into the water. In my head, I looked like a graceful Tarzan, swinging through the jungle, but as the pictures reveal, that was not the case! HA! Still, I had the time of my life, so that’s what counts, right?
On our way back down the trail, we loaded up with strawberry guavas, which lined most of the trail. I’d never seen them before this, but they are as delicious as they are cute! Our stash will probably last us a max of 2 days since we can’t keep our hands off of them!
If you’ve never done this hike and you’re looking for an adventure, I highly recommend this one!
Aloha! Last week I shared with you that I was making a trip to Seattle to model for Matrix for the Salon Centric Hair Show. I shared several different colors that I was drawn to, but had no idea what kind of makeover would be in store for me!
Once I found out my hair was going to be silver, I wanted to jump out of my skin. I could hardly wait to see what the finished product would be!
Robert Santana, a salon owner/stylist, and artistic director for Matrix hit my color out of the park. I’ve received numerous compliments on how amazing my color is and how it matches my chameleon green/blue/gray eyes (which are now apparently silver 😉 ). I even had someone ask if they could take my photo so they could show their stylist.
I hope you love my new color as much as I do, and if you want to steal it for yourself, you’re going to have to go visit Robert in New York. Or, you could desperately hope that there was a stylist taking notes on his color formulation at the Seattle show!
