Happy Monday loves! I want to talk about leaping today. It is leap day on a leap year after all.
Anything great that you’ll ever do requires a leap of faith. No one ever accomplishes great things by staying comfortable. It’s only when you push yourself out of your comfort zone and jump, that you’ll see what you’re capable of.
This last year has been one leap after another for me. I moved somewhere I had never even visited. That was fun, thrilling and exciting. I love adventure. Then I started training to be an educator for Matrix. I love styling hair and working with my hands. I love the art and creativity that comes with my craft. But then I had to learn to speak in public. That has been uncomfortable. While I felt panic and anxiety come over me, by pushing through and taking a leap in a new direction, I’m overcoming my fear one step at a time. I now know what I can be capable of.
There is so much that I dream of accomplishing in my life. I know the sky is the limit. All I have to do is continue to leap.
Will you leap?

I can’t believe that February is almost over! You didn’t think that I’d let this month slip away without giving you my beauty faves did you? Let’s jump straight to them!
This month my beauty faves are a collection. Matrix released a new line of styling products just a few weeks ago, to add to their Oil Wonders collection called Volume Rose. I was already bonkers over their basic Oil Wonders line, so you can imagine my excitement over their new addition!
If you have limp hair and need volume, this product line is for you! The best part? You don’t have to sacrifice the moisture of your hair to achieve it! Most volumizing products leave the hair feeling dry and stiff, but Volume Rose has rose hip oil in it to nourish the hair without weighing it down. And the scent…uh-mazing! I was hesitant about the thought of a rose scent initially, as granny rose came to mind. These products however, have top, middle and bottom notes, just like fine fragrances for your skin, and make your nose dance. Get ready to fall in love!
Shop the Volume Rose collection here.
After you try it, tell me what you think in the comments below!
Hi loves! TGIF!! Oh. My. Goodness. So sorry that I’ve been MIA this week. Last week, I mentioned that I was going to be involved with teaching some Matrix classes to a salon in Pearl Harbor. My days ended up being about 15 hours each, between mom duties in the morning, and then class the rest of the day. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. I even felt comfortable speaking!
This weekend is going to be operation Rest and Recover, aka Beach and Chill. If you’re looking for me, I’ll be sleeping somewhere in the sand.
Hey hey hey! My birthday is less than 2 weeks away! I’m getting ready for my March takeover! (I know I can’t be the only one who designates their entire birthday month to themselves!)
I’ve decided to start off my birthday celebration with Julep. This year they have kicked off a zodiac collection of polish. Of course I had to place my order as soon as they revealed their shade for Pisces! While I was at it, I realized that they also had a hue for my birthstone. Into the shopping cart it went!
Make sure to sign up for Julep email updates so you can be notified of when your shade is revealed!
Hi loves! This week has been a complete blur. I arrived back on the island from California and haven’t stopped. My body is rebelling against me and attempting to get a cold, but I’m trying with all my might to stop it!
While I was in Cali, I worked on my public speaking skills, which while making me very uncomfortable, helped to push me forward so I don’t feel so deathly afraid of it. I’m even going to have an opportunity to further what I learned by presenting some styling products to a salon here in Pearl Harbor. Thank goodness my part is very small in that! I know it’s going to be a great experience.
Jumping topics completely, the look I’m wearing today is such a fun weekend look! It’s casual and chic at the same time. What do you think?
Does public speaking make you cringe? Give me your tips in the comments below!

Rose gold is such a fun trend in hair color right now. One of my New Year’s resolutions to myself is that I will not color my hair this entire year! Does anyone realize how incredibly difficult this will be for me? I’ve already made it for 3 months, and there are still 10 months left in 2016. *Speaking to myself* Don’t stress out!
Since I’m swearing off color for myself this year, I’m dying to make someone’s hair this color! I’m having some company in a few weeks and I plan on sneaking it on them. I can’t wait to see how it turns out! I’ll be sure to share the before and after photos with you, but in the mean time, here’s a little rose gold color inspo for your viewing pleasure 😉

Good morning lovelies! I hope everyone had a fabulous Valentine’s weekend!
I’m currently in California for a training with Matrix. I’m in the process of becoming an educator for the company and I’m so excited! When I get back, I’ll be sure to share the amazing new products they have come out with for the year, so you can be sure to add them to your collection.
Since I have been gone over the weekend and had to miss Valentine’s Day with my love, we celebrated on Friday night. This was a look that I wore earlier in the day while I ran errands with my babes to get ready for my trip.
I love the trend of the skinny scarves that you’re seeing everywhere! This scarf is silk and incredibly lightweight, which is perfect for me living in such a warm climate. I didn’t need to wear any cozy scarves this winter, so it’s fun getting to bust out my breezy ones for the spring.
What do you think of the scarf trend? Will you be wearing them this next season? Let me know in the comments below!

I may have more issues than Vogue, but is that such a bad thing? Have a great weekend loves!

“Hardship often prepares an ordinary person for an extraordinary destiny.” – C.S. Lewis
Think about it. Everyone that has done something great, I mean really great, has had to go through some sort of hardship to get there. I don’t know about you, but I don’t like hardships.
Here is what I do know. Every hardship that I have gone through has shaped me into who I am today. They have made me stronger and more appreciative for what I have. God has never failed me and He’s never left me. Even as a go through a bit of a foggy season now, I trust that He has my best interest in mind. My destiny can’t be anything other than extraordinary with Jesus by my side.
