Happy Good Friday! I’m so grateful for this day! My family and I are going to a service being held at the Blaisdell Arena by New Hope Oahu tonight. They will be having their Easter services there also and I’m pretty excited for all of it!
Jumping to this look I’m wearing, I’ve been looking forward to sharing this denim shirt dress with you! It’s such a comfortable and versatile piece for me. It feels very flattering on my body and I love that it can go with so many pairs of shoes. I decided to rock my new fringe heels with it here which gives a nice pop of color.
Before I sign off, I have to point out my fabulous Pisces nail polish that I bought from Julep earlier this month. Naturally I’ve had it on for most of the month. Photos do not do it justice of what it looks like in person. It has an iridescentness (I’m making up words here!) to it as the light hits it from different angles. It’s a beautiful color!
What are your plans for Easter Weekend? Let me know in the comments below!

Happy Humpday! Get ready to be beautiful because I have a new collection of beauty faves sure to indulge your sweet tooth!
Matrix has been on a roll lately! Last month I shared their release of Oil Wonders Volume Rose, and this month they have released yet another winner to their Biolage line called Sugar Shine. If winter has left your hair dull and lacking shine, this is the product line for you! I’ll briefly tell you about the products, so you can know what to expect.
Your path to locks with luster starts with the Sugar Shine Polishing Hair Scrub. On damp hair, divide your hair into sections and emulsify the sugar scrub through your mid-lengthes and ends until the sugar has dissolved. Think about a body scrub and how it removes all the dead skin cells to reveal fresh new skin underneath. This polishing scrub is doing the same thing for your hair by removing all the impurities. Once the sugar has dissolved, rinse thoroughly.
Next you shampoo and condition your hair as you normally would using the Sugar Shine Shampoo and Sugar Shine Conditioner. When your hair is towel dried and ready for styling, get ready to bust out my new favorite secret weapon! Sugar Shine Illumination Mist can be sprayed through damp or dry hair to seal in shine and smooth fly-aways and has heat protection up to 450 degrees! This makes it the perfect mist to use prior to using a flat iron or curling iron.
This really is an amazing system that has completely blown my socks off. It’s like a little spa treatment for my hair every time I shower. And I must add, it smells heavenly. I don’t know what the official scent is supposed to be, but I’m pretty sure it smells exactly like a Lemon Lavender Yankee Candle. I may
or may not have licked the scrub because I couldn’t help myself! I’m going to kindly advise you not do that! It’s much better on your head 😉

Today is not only St. Patrick’s Day, but also my friend who additionally is one of my most favorite makeup artist’s birthday! When it comes to makeup and beauty tips, this is your girl. Shanie’s experience ranges from working at a 5 star salon, to freelancing and having her work published in Seattle Bride, Santa Barbara Magazine, 100 Layer Cake, Trumpetbird productions, and much more. If you ever have the opportunity to book an appointment with her, I advise you to jump on it.
Shanie has a wonderful website where you can stay up to date on her work and get practical and extremely helpful advice to meet your makeup needs. I’m always able to take away something new that I didn’t know before with each post that I read. I love that!
Below I’ve shared a few photo’s of her work, and if you love what you see, be sure to follow her on Instagram and stay up to date with her blog here.
Happy Monday loves! This week I have spring break on my mind because my girls start theirs in 2 days! Let the fun times begin!
Last week I talked about my fringe obsession with you guys, and shared a couple of my latest purchases. The crazy thing is, I did not tell my husband about my current addiction, but apparently he knows me better than I thought! When I arrived home from my shopping extravaganza, he had my birthday present from him waiting for me. He insisted that I open it at once, and much to my delight, I unwrapped these beauties. Did he do good or what?!
Me and my fringe are all ready for spring break! Do you have any plans for the break? Let me know in the comments below!

Good morning loves! I’m so excited to share this look with you today!
I had been on the hunt for the perfect black button-down shirt dress and was having trouble finding just the right one. Then while I was in Cali a couple weeks ago, I found this one at Nordstrom Rack. I snatched it right off the rack to make sure my eyes weren’t deceiving me (and to make sure no one else grabbed it first!)! The price tag was the cherry on top!
If you’re looking for the perfect black shirt dress, I promise you’ll love this one!
