My Christmas Dress

Hi loves! Life has been a little crazy for me lately, so I apologize for being MIA, but I’m back!

I’m soooo excited that Christmas time is upon us. It’s my most favorite time of the year (cue the music). Last weekend, my family and I kicked off the start of December by going to the Honolulu City Lights parade and took full advantage of the food trucks and rides for my babes. If you want to catch a peek of what Honolulu looks like around Christmas time, you can get a glimpse here.

On Sunday, my husband had his company Christmas party. I wore this plaid slip dress which made me feel perfectly festive. Needless to say, I’m pretty obsessed with it, and I’m looking forward to all the different ways that I can style it.

Salon Centric LIVE

image image image image image image image image image image

It’s been just over a week now that I was in San Francisco for the Salon Centric LIVE hair show. I flew into the city early and was able to complete my audition to be a certified Matrix team member. I’m thrilled to say that I passed and I’m officially part of the team!

The Matrix team did an amazing job and the show went as smooth as can be. Nicholas French, Lenny Strand, and Hope Brooks had an incredible stage presence and had the audience completely captivated. It was inspiring, hearing the crowd go from laughter to  “ooohs” and “ahhhs” when something clicked that they could take away with them.

I got to style the pixelated wig that Lenny colored for the event, and then I got to model it. I was really wishing the look was a bit more permanent because I loved it!

I hope you enjoy all of the behind the scene photos of the show. I’m so blessed to be part of such an incredible team.

Good morning! I hope everyone is having a great Saturday so far!

I just wanted to share a little weekend style inspo with you. I’m super obsessed with these black distressed jeans I found at Zara. I bought them just a few weeks ago and I couldn’t find a link for them online, but they are in the store. At least they are at the Zara in Honolulu.

I’m off for a bit of shopping now and then I’m headed to the beach with my babes. The UV index is supposed to be extreme today, so we should be nice and baked come evening! My husband’s birthday was earlier this week (Happy Birthday babe!) and his choice for dinner this evening is wonton soup at our favorite Chinese restaurant. I can’t wait!

What are you up to this weekend? Let me know in the comments below!

Laced Up

Good morning dolls! Happy Humpday!

Today I’m sharing one of my favorite new dresses. I got this little lace-up number for my birthday over a month and a half ago, and I’m just getting around to sharing it with you! Sorry for the delay, but not sorry for you, because if you decide to buy one for yourself, it’s now on sale.

In my birthday spirit, I’m also wearing my Alex and Ani Pisces bracelet along with my cupcake bracelet from them that my bestie got me a couple years ago. It’s almost like March never left 😉

Happy Good Friday! I’m so grateful for this day! My family and I are going to a service being held at the  Blaisdell Arena by New Hope Oahu tonight. They will be having their Easter services there also and I’m pretty excited for all of it!

Jumping to this look I’m wearing, I’ve been looking forward to sharing this denim shirt dress with you! It’s such a comfortable and versatile piece for me. It feels very flattering on my body and I love that it can go with so many pairs of shoes. I decided to rock my new fringe heels with it here which gives a nice pop of color.

Before I sign off, I have to point out my fabulous Pisces nail polish that I bought from Julep earlier this month. Naturally I’ve had it on for most of the month. Photos do not do it justice of what it looks like in person. It has an iridescentness (I’m making up words here!) to it as the light hits it from different angles. It’s a beautiful color!

What are your plans for Easter Weekend? Let me know in the comments below!

image image image image-8 image image image imageimageI’m a sucker for fringe. Last week I was birthday shopping with my mom and I came across these heels that I’ve been swooning over. I didn’t have to think twice about purchasing them! Then I found these jeans the next day, which are now one of my favorite pairs of denim. They’re soooo comfortable! I’ll most likely be living in my new fringey finds for quite some time.

If you love my fringe, I’ve included the links below so you can get them before they’re gone 🙂

Just a Piece

It’s my birthday! This whole week has been a pre-funk leading up to the great event. I’ve been taken shopping, gone to multiple luncheons, and got my Hawaii state driver’s license which I aced by the way…ah thank you! Today’s agenda will consist of the beach and chocolate lava cake, because, what else is there?!

Today I want share what makes me tick. Of course there so is much more than these photos portray, but if I could give a brief glimpse of what makes me squeal inside, this is it.

Have a great weekend and think of me if you eat cake!

image image image image image image imageHi loves! This week has been a complete blur. I arrived back on the island from California and haven’t stopped. My body is rebelling against me and attempting to get a cold, but I’m trying with all my might to stop it!

While I was in Cali, I worked on my public speaking skills, which while making me very uncomfortable, helped to push me forward so I don’t feel so deathly afraid of it. I’m even going to have an opportunity to further what I learned by presenting some styling products to a salon here in Pearl Harbor. Thank goodness my part is very small in that! I know it’s going to be a great experience.

Jumping topics completely, the look I’m wearing today is such a fun weekend look! It’s casual and chic at the same time. What do you think?

Does public speaking make you cringe? Give me your tips in the comments below!
