Hi loves! Life has been a little crazy for me lately, so I apologize for being MIA, but I’m back!
I’m soooo excited that Christmas time is upon us. It’s my most favorite time of the year (cue the music). Last weekend, my family and I kicked off the start of December by going to the Honolulu City Lights parade and took full advantage of the food trucks and rides for my babes. If you want to catch a peek of what Honolulu looks like around Christmas time, you can get a glimpse here.
On Sunday, my husband had his company Christmas party. I wore this plaid slip dress which made me feel perfectly festive. Needless to say, I’m pretty obsessed with it, and I’m looking forward to all the different ways that I can style it.

Christmas has always been my favorite time of year. The warmth and love that is displayed to family and friends and even strangers makes my heart happy. I love all the sparkling lights, the decorations and giving gifts. And I love going to the Christmas Eve service at church every year. I could go on, but you get the point.
Before the Christmas season arrived this year, I wondered if living in a tropical climate would change all those feelings I usually get. Would a warm Christmas throw off my holiday? Would the decorations even seem like Christmas?
Well, I’m pleased to say that it most definitely seems like Christmas! Of course it’s warm, but you won’t hear a complaint out of me! The decorations are beautiful and eye catching. The people are so full of Christmas cheer, almost more than I’ve seen before! And I can hardly wait for the service at our church, which I’ve completely fallen in love with!
I tried to capture a few of my favorite decorated places I pass by every day. I don’t think I did it justice, but I hope you’ll get the idea 🙂
